Brian is a one of the founders and promoters of Verde Afrika. He is the lead consultant on Frameworks and Standards, Sustainability Reporting and Integrated Reporting. He is a business relationship professional specializing in stakeholder engagement and resource mobilization. His experience is predominantly in public sector financial management. He has held various progressively responsible roles in departments of Accounting, Finance and Strategy at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Athi Water Works Development Agency (AWWDA), Nairobi City County and Nairobi Metropolitan Services.
He has a strong academic background that includes; a Master’s degree in Commerce (Sustainability Accounting Major) from Strathmore University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance Major) from the Technical University of Kenya. He is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, CPA (K) and a member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
