Cynthia Kimilu is one of the Promoters and Founders of Verde Afrika. She is a multi-disciplined professional with 8 years of experience in Corporate Sustainability Mainstreaming and Reporting, Brand Positioning, Communication and Event Strategy, Business Development and Project Management.

Cynthia Kimilu is passionate about issues related to climate action and economic development and she seeks to contribute to solutions for Africa’s development challenges. As a result of her passion, she co-founded Verde Afrika, a partnership with visionaries that aspire to support businesses become sustainable, responsible and successful leaders of tomorrow.

Cynthia is currently finalizing her Master of Commerce in Sustainability Accounting. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi, and professional certifications in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Audit, Business Planning and Digital Marketing.
