Joseph is one of the Promoters and the Managing Partner in Verde Afrika. He is a lead consultant on Environmental Management Accounting, Corporate Social Responsibility, Integrated Reporting and Sustainable Development Goals. He has been at the forefront in running social and community programmes being an individual with great passion for Sustainable Development and Poverty Alleviation. He grew up in Mombasa (Changamwe) where the most youth are affected by unemployment, lack of tertiary education, drug abuse and poverty. He was among the active youth members working towards improving capacity (through raising and saving funds to start businesses) and promote education (through mentorship and raising school fees). He was also involved in creating awareness of Youth Opportunities funded by the National Government, county Government of Mombasa (including Scholarships), Community Funded Projects, USAID (Youth Bunge Initiative) and UKAID (Kuza Project). He still dedicates most of his leisure time in community service and mentoring high school students in rural areas. 

Joseph has wide experience in the areas of Financial Management, Managerial and Financial Accounting, Capital Markets Regulation and Social Development. He has worked as a Financial Analyst and Fraud Examiner in Capital Markets Authority, Senior Accountant in Papaya Retail Ltd, Finance Officer in Africa Capacity Alliance (ACA), Financial Analyst and Credit Controller in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism & Investment - County Government of Mombasa, Sponsorship Management Officer in Marafa Community Development Program Funded by the World Vision Kenya and as a Clerk in Multi-Port Shipping Limited.

Joseph is a holder of a Masters in Sustainability Accounting and a Bachelors of Commerce both from Strathmore University, Certificate in Securities Regulation from the Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI), Certificate in SAP essentials and is currently pursuing Certified Investment & Financial Analysts (Section 4).
